About Vertical Charts
Vertical Charts ranks the vertical (phone-first) micro-dramas people actually watch on apps like ReelShort and DramaBox. Every Thursday we publish the Vertical 52, a weekly chart scored with VertiScore, our published 0 to 100 method. The formula, weights and data sources are on our methodology page.
Who runs it
Nirav Patel, Founder and Editor. Nirav Patel is a Stamford, CT entrepreneur who follows the micro-drama industry week by week. He built VertiScore to rank vertical dramas from public audience signals, and he edits the weekly Vertical 52 chart and the site’s news and analysis.
What we do and don’t do
- We build the chart from public signals (view counts, growth since the last chart, platform placement) and say so when a signal is not measured yet.
- Show pages carry our own summaries, chart history and commentary. Platform synopses are never copied.
- News articles name and link their sources.
- We are independent of ReelShort, DramaBox and every other platform. Some “Watch” links are affiliate links and are marked as such. Ads (when shown) never affect rankings.
